Mechanical Technician (F/M) – ref. no. MO/1/2019

Tecnam Maintenance Organization (Part 145) is seeking Mechanical Technicians (EASA AML Cat.B1.2/B2/B3) Male/Female

This positions, reporting to Maintenance Manager, involve:
Complete scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, testing, inspections and installations of aircraft structures/components;
Complete required paperwork, certifications and releases for work completed to meet airworthiness standards;
Investigate aircraft system deficiencies and faults and perform Troubleshooting
Comply with all safety regulations;
Ensure all parts and assembly meet requirements in accordance with approved data
Support the company’s programs, such as FOD, health & safety and continuous improvement;
Maintain neat and orderly work area;

For this position the following skills and background are required:

  • AML Cat.B1.2/B2/B3
  • Familiar with all functions of components and systems for installation;
  • Possess mechanical aptitude;
  • Ability to operate various tools and equipment;
  • Possess skill in close tolerance work, e.g. drilling, reaming, ship fitting parts, etc.;
  • Thorough knowledge in the use of multiple measuring devices with ability to use within specified tolerance;
  • Possess manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination;
  • Management skills together with flexibility for multi-tasking;
  • English knowledge;
  • Capable to work with little or no direct supervision;
  • Good communication skills;
  •  Basic computer skills are desirable;
  • High School Diploma or equivalent;

Previous experience in general aviation maintenance considered an asset.
